WRANGLER X BIG PINEAPPLE FESTIVAL
We were once again overwhelmed by the generosity & support that festival goer’s showed us at the Big Pineapple Festival in support of HoMie
We were once again overwhelmed by the generosity & support that festival goer’s showed us at the Big Pineapple Festival in support of HoMie - a social enterprise that uses 100% of its profits to provide brand-new clothing, retail training and job opportunities to young people affected by homelessness or hardship.
Our teams worked hard- collecting over 300 pairs of jeans in just the first few hours! We loved meeting you all, talking all things Wrangler & HoMie and of course getting you in to a brand new pair of Wrangler jeans!
We’ll be sending some brand new Wrangler denim along with some of the pre-loved pairs to HoMie for their VIP shopping days, where some of those experiencing homelessness are invited to shop for free at the HoMie Street Store receiving new clothing and a dignified shopping experience, free food, haircuts, and beauty services. These days aim to increase social inclusion, connectedness and confidence for Melbourne’s community of people experiencing homelessness.
But that’s not it… we’ll also be working with local artists to create bespoke and unique pieces of art integrating the pre loved denim that will be auctioned off at a later stage - with all proceeds going to HoMie.
Once again thanks to all involved, see you next time!
Special thanks to The Big Pineapple festival and Lumberjack Productions for helping us bring it to life.
